You can’t get closer to the action than this, nestling just behind the nightlife magnet of Playa de las Americas, this course built in 1998 is an oasis of calm and beauty. It’s hard to believe you are between the night clubs and bars and the main motorway. The natural amphi theatre shape of the course and it’s extensive range of trees, shields it from the bustle further down towards the sea.
The Spanish Ladies Open has been held here and the 6,039 metres of gently sloping course is a pleasure to stroll around with it’s lush greenery, streams and waterfalls. The design of the course shows off the mountains to great effect with the large 3 floor clubhouse blending in well with it’s colonial style wooden frontage.
There is a full range of facilities, chipping and putting greens, driving range, changing rooms and a choice of a restaurant bar or a much larger and ornate restaurant which is available for private hire. Improve your game or simply learn the basics at the golfschool or look the part with the latest gear from the golf pro shop.
If you want to be close to the course, how about staying at the Hotel Las Madrigueras, right on the course. It’s got all you need to be pampered between playing, sauna, Turkish bath, swimming pool, gym or hair dressing salon. The bars and restaurants will meet all your needs from snacks to cocktails.
So what will it cost you. The May to September summer season is dearer at 63€ for 18 holes or 43€ for 9, the winter rates are 96€ and 55€. Hire rates are the same all year which means club hire will cost 40€ for Callaway woods or 20€ for regulars and if you want a buggy to take the strain for you, that will be 38€.
If you are staying in any of the main resort hotels for the south, this is your most convenient course and for after the game, you will find everything you may need for food, drink and music.
